Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax transports viewers into a fantastical landscape imagined by Dr. Seuss and vividly brought to life by Chris Meledandri and his acclaimed filmmaking team at Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me). Directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me) from a screenplay adapted by Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul (Despicable Me, HOP, Horton Hears a Who) from the 1971 children’s classic, the film is an imaginative journey that begins in the town of Thneedville, where a boy searches for the one thing he knows will win the heart of his dream girl. But in order find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the often grumpy but loveable protector of Truffula Valley, in an exciting adventure filled with comedy and heart that USA Today’s Claudia Puig calls, “The right blend of funny, silly, and sweet.”
Danny DeVito (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Twins, L.A. MY GIRLS LOVE TO WATCH MOVIES. ALL KINDS F KIDS MOVIES AND LEARNING ONES TOO. ME'ANA HAS BEEN WANTING TO SEE THE LORAX FOR AWHILE. SHE WAS SUPER EXCITED WHEN THE LORAX DVD GOT HERE. SHE BEGGED ME TO WATCH IT. WELL I WAS SO HAPPY THE DVD CAME T THE PERFCT TIME. I HAD BEEN ASKING HER FOR ALMOST AN HOUR TO CLEAN UP HER TOYS. SHE HADNT DONE IT. I CALLED HER AND SAID ME'ANA WANNA WATCH THE LORAX? SHE SAID YES LL EXCITED. THEN I SAID ONLY IF YOU CAN GO PICK UP YOUR TOYS. ALL OF THOSE TOYS WERE PICKED UP IN LESS THAN 10 MINS. BOTH OF MY GIRLS SAT DOWN AND WATCHED THE WHOLE DVD. THEY DIDNT GET BORED WITH IT AT ALL. INFACT THEY HAVE WATCHED IT SO MANY TIMES. BOTH MY GIRLS LOVE THE LORAX MOVIE. I KNOW YOUR CHILDREN WILL TOO. I THOUGHT IT WAS A SUPER CUTE MOVIE AS WELL.
BOTH OF MY GRILS SO EXCITED ABOUT THE LORAX DVD. THEY LOVE IT SO MUCH.
