I USED THE Cortex Solo450 Giraffe AFTER I WASHED AND TOWEL DRIED MY HAIR.BEFORE I STARTED TO FLAT IRON MY HAIR A SPRAYED SOME OF THE KQC Thermal Shine Spray ONTO MY HAIR.THEN I TURNED ON MY FLAT IRON. I WAS AMAZED AT HOW FAST IT HEATED UP. BY THE TIME I GOT OUT A COMB AND SECTIONED OFF A SMALL SECTION IT WAS ALREADY HOT.THE CORTEX SOLO 450 GIRAFFE HEATS UP TO 450 DEGREES.MY HAIR WENT FROM FRIZZE TO STARIGHT IN ABOUT 20 MINS.I ONLY HAD TO RUN THE FLAT IRON DOWN EACH SECTION ABOUT 1 TO 2 TIMES AND MY HAIR WAS STRAIGHT .I WILL DEFFINATLY BE USING THE CORTEX SOLO 450 GIRAFFE FROM NOW ONE.BEFORE IT WOULD TAKE ME ALMOST 2 HOURS TO BLOW DRY AND FLAT IRON MY HAIR.I ALSO LOVE THE Flat Iron Experts Iron Holder.I CAN JUST PUT THE FLAT IRON IN IT AND LEAVE IT OUT ON MY SINK.AND I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY GIRLS OR CHRIS KNOCKING IT OFF THE COUNTER.THE FLAT IRON HOLDER HAS SUCTION CUPS TO KEEP IT IN PLACE.YOU CAN FIND THIS FLAT IRON AND MANY OTHER STYLING TOOLS AT THE FLAT IRON EXPERTS WEBSITE .
