LIFE MANIFEST REVIEW

man·i·fes·to [man-uh-fes-toh]: a public declaration of intentions, opinions, objectives, or motives...
Life Manifestos was born when New York Times bestselling writer Stephen Palmer discovered the Holstee company manifesto.Upon reading it, his first thought was, “That’s really cool. I’d love for my kids to grow up reading that.”
Then a light erupted in his head. Why not write and design dozens of similar manifestos that allow people to proclaim their passion to the world?
Stephen teamed up with his brother Kim to start the company in November of 2011.
The concept is simple: Inspirational manifestos, designed as works of art, that resonate with people who strive for excellence and significance.
The manifestos are your planted flag, your line in the sand, your standard held high.
They are predicated upon our firm belief that words and art can change the world.
As people display these in their homes and offices -- bold proclamations to a jaded and complacent world -- new conversations arise. Principles, ideas, and ideals are considered, discussed, and debated in ways they never would have otherwise.
They poetically and profoundly express the essence of who you are, what you believe, and what you stand for. They are constant reminders to always strive for improvement, follow your bliss, to make a difference.

Meet Our Founders

Stephen Palmer: Writer

Stephen Palmer is an idealist, truth-seeker, lover of liberty, writer, and the author of Uncommon Sense: A Common Citizen’s Guide to Rebuilding America
He has a burning belief in the power of the human spirit — our ability to transcend circumstances and achieve greatness through choice. That belief drives him to strive for virtue and excellence in his own life, and to do all in his power to uplift and inspire others.
He lives and promotes his passion as a founding partner of The Center for Social Leadership, through his personal blog, and, of course, through Life Manifestos.
He co-authored the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Businessweek, and Amazon bestseller Killing Sacred Cows: Overcoming the Financial Myths that are Destroying Your Prosperity. He is also the co-author of Hub Mentality: Shifting from Business Transactions to Community Interactions.
Before starting Life Manifestos, Stephen was a professional freelance writer for six years.
A dedicated learner and promoter of personal, financial, and governmental freedom, Stephen is passionate about political philosophy, economics, history, personal finance, entrepreneurship, religion and spirituality, family, education and culture. (See his favorite books and movies.)
He graduated from a liberal arts college where he was mentored by Oliver DeMille. He's also been privileged to be mentored by Steve D'Annunzio.
He is also a graduate and faculty member of Wizard Academy, a "non-traditional business school" with an emphasis on the art and science of persuasive communication.
He and his wife Karina are raising their four kids in southern Utah. When he's not writing or spending time with his family, you'll find him reading, canyoneering in Zion National Park, gardening, or playing basketball.

Kim Palmer: Operations Manager

Kim Palmer is a family man, idealist, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner.
He loves family (and especially grandchildren), America and liberty, hiking & backpacking, Wendy's vanilla frosties, creating cool ways to display pictures, reclaiming old doors and windows into picture frames and furniture, and renovating real estate.
His best decision was to marry his soulmate Laura, with whom he's raised five children.
He has more than 20 years of business experience, including starting and operating several of his own businesses. He loves solving problems and is particularly passionate about customer service and customer experience architecture.
He has been an elected County Chairman and District Vice Chairman in politics, and has served as a Scoutmaster, Varsity Coach, and Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scouts of America.
Kim is convinced of and is passionate about sharing these truths:

  • We become what we think about.
  • We are happiest when we are serving others.
  • Laughing makes us healthier.
  • We think better when we're physically fit.
  • Anyone can overcome any obstacles through the power of choice.

                        MY REVIEW.
I was excited to receive my personalized Family Manifesto from Life Manifestos. I thought it was really cool. i just wish it had been sealed with plastic or something. i wanted to hang it on our front door but was afraid it would get wet and all messed up. i thought the wall art was really neat. i love that is has our last name on it as well as all the awesome words. i have been asked several time to read it by my girls. almost everytime we have to go somewhere or when we get back home. i have it hanging in the wall by the front door. i am still looking for a frame to put it in. yes i do really like my art from wall manifestos

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
